Remote Commander

Sony RMT-845 Remote Commander is an infrared remote for operating supported Sony cameras. It provides remote access to a small set of recording functions, so you can control them without using the camera’s own buttons.

With this remote, you can start or stop recording and initialize or reset the camera’s time code. Sony documents its use with the FDR-X1000V, HDR-AS200V and HDR-AZ1 cameras. The available controls are limited to these functions; it does not operate other camera settings.
