Red SSD SN700 NVMe 1TB M.2

Western Digital WD Red SN700 NVMe SSD WDS100T1R0C is a 1TB solid-state drive designed for NAS storage and caching. It is intended to support data-intensive NAS workloads, including systems used by multiple people at once.

The drive uses an M.2 2280-S3-M form factor and a PCIe Gen3 interface with up to four lanes. The manufacturer specifies sequential speeds of up to 3,430 MB/s read and 3,000 MB/s write for this 1TB model, helping speed up data access and transfer in supported systems.

Western Digital also lists the drive for caching and demanding tasks such as virtualization, collaborative editing and database storage. Its rated endurance is 2,000 TBW, a measure of the total data written over the drive’s rated life.
