Red SA500 NAS SATA SSD 1TB

WD Red SA500 NAS SATA SSD WDS100T1R0A is a 1TB solid-state drive designed for NAS storage and frequently accessed files. Its 2.5-inch, 7mm form factor and SATA connection suit NAS bays built for this drive type.

The SATA III 6 Gb/s interface supports sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s and sequential writes up to 530 MB/s. These rates can help keep file access and transfers responsive in supported systems.

WD describes the SA500 as optimized for caching frequently used content in NAS systems. It is also intended for workloads such as multi-user environments, databases, photo rendering and video editing.
