RAM HARDWIRE CHARGER 20-60VDC

The RAM Mounts RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V9U is a GDS modular hardwire charger for powering RAM or GDS docking stations that use DC power. Its 20–60 V DC input range suits installations such as forklift mounts and material-handling equipment, where a hardwired supply is useful.

The charger converts that input to 12 V DC at up to 3.5 A. A male 5.5 mm barrel connector, measuring 5.5 mm outer diameter by 2.5 mm inner diameter, connects to the dock. The 1.2 m input cable includes a 2-pole flat marine connector, and the output cable is 0.2 m long.

Over-voltage, short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection are built in. The modular design also allows the power connector to be unplugged when replacing charger components, avoiding rewiring the connection.
