AXIS Q1972-E 25 mm 30 fps (03031-001) is a thermal network camera for perimeter monitoring and detection. Its thermal imaging supports detection and verification in low-contrast scenes and changing light or weather conditions.
The camera combines a 640 × 480 thermal sensor with video output up to 800 × 600. Its 25 mm lens provides a 24.1° horizontal and 18.5° vertical field of view, while thermal palettes help distinguish heat sources in the scene. Electronic image stabilization supports steadier video where vibration or movement affects the camera.
Designed for outdoor use, the unit carries IP66 and IP67 ratings and operates from −40 to 60 °C. AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard and AXIS Loitering Guard are included, with support for AXIS Perimeter Defender and third-party analytics.
