ProCurve 2920-48G Switch

HPE ProCurve 2920-48G Switch (J9728A) is a managed network switch for connecting wired devices in an Ethernet network. This is the 48G non-PoE model, identified by HPE as the HP 2920-48G Switch.

It provides 44 auto-sensing 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and four dual-personality ports, each usable as RJ-45 or SFP. Auto-MDIX supports either straight-through or crossover twisted-pair cables, making it easier to connect network devices with common Ethernet cabling.

Two slots accept optional 10G expansion modules, and another slot supports an optional stacking module for connecting compatible 2920 switches. The switch weighs 7.5 kg. The listed ports and optional module slots provide ways to connect wired equipment and expand network connectivity as requirements change.
