StarTech.com MON-PRIVACY-SCREEN-K is a mounting kit for installing or replacing the hardware used with a laptop or monitor privacy filter. It helps restore a filter whose attachment pieces have been lost or damaged, and the filter itself is not included.
The kit provides 12 adhesive strips—6 large and 6 small—and 8 bezel mounting tabs—2 large and 6 small. The adhesive strips are intended for semi-permanent mounting and can be removed without leaving adhesive residue. The tabs offer a non-permanent option, making it possible to remove and reuse a filter on displays of the same size.
The universal kit works with StarTech.com and third-party privacy filters. It is intended for monitors up to 32 inches; larger displays may require additional kits. A wiping cloth is included for cleaning the monitor or bezel before mounting.
