Passive Gigabit PoE injector

MikroTik GESP+POE-IN is a passive Power over Ethernet injector with surge protection. It adds PoE power to an Ethernet link for a remote device, such as an antenna on a mast, while protecting the connection from surges.

Connect it to a host device through RJ45, then link it to the mast device with an Ethernet cable. Power comes from a power adapter. A grounding connection is provided, and a bracket lets you attach the injector to a wall or mast. Its LED indicates whether the connected Ethernet port is active.

MikroTik describes placing the injector below a mast to power antennas and protect connected switches in a setup that also uses GESP surge protectors. Manufacturer documentation lists a K-78 fastening set among the included accessories.
