The HPE P05980-H21-RFB is a refurbished internal SSD for HPE servers and storage systems. Based on the P05980-H21 platform, it offers 960 GB for mixed-use workloads with frequent reading and writing.

Its SATA 6G interface and 2.5-inch SFF form factor suit compatible server drive bays; the 7 mm height specifies the drive’s profile. HPE Smart Carrier supports hot-plug operation and provides a drive-status interface in supported HPE systems.

Digitally signed firmware and support for SSD wear monitoring with SmartSSD Wear Gauge are part of the HPE platform. The base model’s stated endurance is 6000 TB written and 3.4 DWPD. Intended workloads include server databases, data analytics, cloud computing, active archiving and data warehouses.
