The MicroConnect MC-PCIEX8-X550-T2-D is a PCIe network card for adding dual-port wired Ethernet to a PC or server. It is built around the Intel X550 chipset and connects through a PCIe Gen3 x8 interface.
Two RJ45 ports provide 10GBASE-T networking over Cat6a/7 cabling for links up to 100 m. The card also supports 1G Ethernet, allowing it to serve in different wired network setups. Its listed networking features include LAN, iSCSI and FCoE traffic, plus SR-IOV, VMDq and DPDK for virtualization workloads.
