Network Card PCIe x4 X540-T2

The MicroConnect Network Card PCIe x4 X540-T2 Dual-10GbE adds two wired network ports to a compatible computer. It uses the Intel X540 chipset and connects through a PCIe x4 interface.

Both RJ45 ports support 10GBASE-T over copper for high-speed Ethernet connections. The card also supports 1GBASE-T, allowing it to link at that network speed when used with suitable equipment.

For server and virtualized networking, the listed features include LAN, iSCSI and FCoE traffic, along with SR-IOV and VMDq. The package includes a user manual, driver CD and low-profile bracket.
