Motherboard Amd X870E Socket

The MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI is an ATX motherboard for desktop PCs, based on the AMD X870E chipset and AM5 socket. It supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series desktop processors, providing a platform for a compatible Ryzen build.

Four DDR5 UDIMM slots accommodate up to 256 GB of memory. Three PCIe x16 slots provide room for expansion cards; the primary slot supports up to PCIe 5.0 x16, subject to processor-dependent lane sharing.

For storage, there are four M.2 slots and four SATA 6G ports. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless connections, while 5G and 2.5G LAN provide wired networking.
