The MSI MPG B650 EDGE WIFI is an ATX motherboard for desktop builds using AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 or 7000 series processors. Its AMD B650 chipset and Socket AM5 define the platform, while four DDR5 slots support dual-channel memory with up to 256 GB capacity.
For storage, the board offers three M.2 sockets: one with PCIe 5.0 x4 support and two with PCIe 4.0 x4 support, plus six SATA 6G ports. Two PCIe x16-size slots and one PCIe x1 slot provide expansion options; the available lane configuration of the x16-size slots depends on the installed processor series.
Networking includes AMD Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and Realtek 2.5Gbps LAN. Rear connections include USB Type-C at 20Gbps, USB Type-A at 5Gbps and 10Gbps, HDMI and DisplayPort. The display outputs work only when the processor has integrated graphics.
