Toshiba MG09ACA18TE is an 18 TB enterprise hard drive for high-capacity data storage. Its 3.5-inch form factor and SATA interface are suited to compatible server and storage bays; the exact model uses SATA-3.3, with interface speeds up to 6.0 Gbit/s.
The drive uses CMR recording and Toshiba FC-MAMR technology. Its 512e format presents 512-byte host sectors with 4096-byte disk sectors, a detail relevant to storage-system configuration. It spins at 7200 rpm and includes a 512 MiB buffer.
