The Canon MC-G04 Maintenance Cartridge (5813C001) collects waste ink inside compatible PIXMA printers. It absorbs ink used during print-head cleaning cycles as well as excess ink overspray during printing.
This cartridge is designed for user replacement when it becomes full. The printer screen indicates when replacement is needed, making it clear when the maintenance component has reached its limit.
Canon lists compatibility with PIXMA G2570, G2470, G4570, G4470, G1530, G1430, G3571, G3471, G3572, G3472, G3570, G3470, G2430 and G3430 printers. The box contains one MC-G04 Maintenance Cartridge.
