Mandible Wire Strippers

iFixit Mandible Wire Strippers (part number IF145-547-1) prepare insulated wire for electronics repair and other precise wiring tasks. They cut, strip and bend wire in sizes 30–10 AWG, covering the range stated for the tool.

The strippers remove insulation without damaging the wire beneath it. A spring-loaded handle resets after each use, and its ergonomic grip supports controlled handling. The one-hand locking latch opens or secures the tool, which is useful when positioning it for a wire task.
