Rohde & Schwarz 61881 GS-3628XP is a managed L3-lite multi-Gigabit access switch for connecting wired network devices and supplying power to compatible equipment over Ethernet. Its port mix combines 12 1-Gigabit PoE+ ports, 12 2.5-Gigabit PoE+ ports, and four SFP+ slots for uplinks, providing room for both standard and faster Ethernet connections.
The switch has a stated 164 Gbit/s throughput and a 370 W PoE budget. IPv4 and IPv6 support, static routing, DHCP server functions and QoS provide network management and traffic control features. IEEE 802.1X and TACACS+ are also supported for access control and management.
The 1U rack-mountable design suits installation in a network rack. Cloud-based configuration is available through LANCOM Management Cloud, allowing the switch to be configured as part of a managed LAN.
