The AXIS M4225-LVE (02814-001) is a dome network camera for video surveillance in indoor or outdoor settings. It records at 2 MP and has a remote-adjustable varifocal lens, so its view can be set for a wider scene or a closer field of view without manual lens adjustment. The lens spans 3.2–7.2 mm, with a horizontal field of view of 100°–38°.
Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and OptimizedIR support image capture across varied lighting conditions. Integrated infrared illumination reaches 20 m or more, depending on the scene. Preinstalled AXIS Object Analytics detects and classifies people and vehicles, while AXIS Audio Analytics can identify certain sounds and sudden increases in sound volume.
The camera uses PoE, Type 1 Class 3, with maximum power consumption of 10.5 W. Its enclosure is rated IP66, NEMA 4X and IK10. Box contents: camera, weather shield, installation guide, connector guard, cable gaskets and owner authentication key.
