HPE C7977AN LTO-7 Ultrium Non Custom Labeled Data Cartridge 20 Pack is a set of tape cartridges for data storage and backup in LTO-7 Ultrium systems. The non-custom-labeled format suits users who do not require custom barcode labeling.

Each cartridge offers 15 TB compressed capacity at 2.5:1 compression. The media supports rewritable and write-once formats, giving a choice of recording modes for backup and retention workflows. Its stated media read speed is 700 MB/s.

The tape is 960 m long and 5.6 µm thick, with 3,584 data tracks. HPE lists an archival life of 30 years when the cartridges are stored under recommended conditions. The pack contains 20 slate-blue cartridges made with barium ferrite.
