KIT-JETDIRECT USB WIRELESS PRINT SERVER

HP Jetdirect 2900nw USB wireless print server kit, J8031-61001, adds wireless connectivity as an accessory for compatible printers. HP identifies this exact part number as the replacement USB wireless print server accessory for the Jetdirect 2900nw.

HP lists the accessory as optional for the PageWide Enterprise Color MFP 586dn, 586f and 586z. It is intended to extend the printer’s connectivity with wireless networking.

This is the Jetdirect 2900nw print server accessory. HP’s manual lists the Jetdirect 3000w separately as an NFC/Wireless Direct accessory for mobile-device printing, so the two accessories have distinct roles.
