Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50C, IKVP50C/32GB is a 32GB USB flash drive with a Type-C connector for portable file storage. It combines USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity with hardware-based 256-bit XTS-AES encryption, and Kingston identifies it as FIPS 197 certified.
Password options include Admin, User and One-Time Recovery roles, with Complex and Passphrase modes. Passphrases can range from 10 to 64 characters. Admin and User can also enable read-only mode, which write-protects the drive. A built-in virtual keyboard is designed to shield password entry from keyloggers and screenloggers.
For the 32GB capacity, Kingston lists read speeds of up to 250MB/s and write speeds of up to 180MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 1. These are the manufacturer’s stated figures for capacities in the 8GB to 128GB range.
