PLANET GS-4210-8T2S is a managed Gigabit Ethernet switch for connecting wired devices and extending a network over fiber. It combines 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports with 2 dual-speed SFP interfaces, providing copper connections for local equipment and fiber uplinks to a backbone or another network segment.
IPv4 and IPv6 management, Layer 2/Layer 4 switching, VLAN configuration and QoS give administrators tools to organize traffic and manage network access. Web, console and SNMP interfaces support different management workflows.
A 20 Gbit/s switching fabric supports traffic across the ports. The fanless metal enclosure is 1U high and measures 280 × 180 × 44 mm, making it suitable for a rack or network workspace. Typical power consumption is 6.8 W.
