IP30, IPv6/IPv4, L2+ 8-Port

The PLANET WGS-5225-8P2S is an industrial managed Ethernet switch for connecting and managing wired network devices, including PoE equipment. Its eight Gigabit RJ45 ports carry network data and provide PoE power; two SFP slots support 1G or 2.5G uplinks.

PoE support covers IEEE 802.3at/af devices, with a 240 W total power budget and up to 36 W per port. IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack management and Layer 2/Layer 4 functions provide tools for administering the network.

The metal enclosure has IP30 protection and is rated for operation from −40 to 75 °C. Installation options include fixed or magnetic wall mounting and DIN rail. PLANET identifies building and home automation, IoT, IP surveillance and wireless LAN as suitable application areas.
