PLANET IPOE-470 is an industrial four-port PoE++ injector hub that adds power delivery to an Ethernet network for compatible powered devices. It sits between an Ethernet switch and the devices, carrying data and power together over UTP cable.
Four 10/100/1000/2500BASE-T RJ45 inputs connect to the switch, while four corresponding outputs deliver PoE. The hub supports IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3at. Each port can provide up to 95 W, within a 240 W total PoE budget.
The unit accepts 48–54 V DC and supports redundant power input. Its IP30 metal case can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall. Example applications include powering PoE PTZ cameras, thin clients, touch PCs, point-of-sale equipment and digital signage.
