PLANET IGT-805AT is an industrial Gigabit media converter that links copper Ethernet to a fiber network through an SFP module. It suits network extensions where a standard Ethernet connection needs to reach a fiber backbone.
The unit has one 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 port and a dual-mode 100/1000BASE-X SFP interface. Its slot supports 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP modules, letting the fiber connection use a module suited to the network link.
For installation in equipment cabinets, the converter has an IP30 metal enclosure and can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall. Redundant inputs accept 12–48 V DC or 24 V AC, while the specified operating range of −40 to 75 °C supports use in industrial environments. Jumbo frames up to 9K and Link Fault Pass-through are also supported.
