Internal magnetic drive HP EH921A SPS-DRV TAPE LTO4 HH SCSI INT, 465791-001

HP 465791-001 (EH921A) is an internal LTO-4 tape drive for server data backup and storage. Its half-height LFF format and SCSI connection identify this specific Ultrium 1760 variant.

The drive uses Ultra320 SCSI LVDS and offers up to 1.6 TB compressed capacity per cartridge, with a compressed transfer rate of 576 GB per hour. It supports reading and writing LTO-4 and LTO-3 media, as well as reading LTO-2 cartridges, giving it access to tapes from several generations.

Hardware AES 256-bit encryption and WORM media support add options for protecting and retaining backup data. These features make the drive suitable for tape-based backup workflows where data is archived on compatible Ultrium cartridges.
