Internal hard drive 12 TB

Western Digital WD Red Plus WD120EFGX is a 12 TB internal hard drive designed for network attached storage. Its generous capacity gives a NAS room for shared files and growing data collections.

The drive uses a 3.5-inch form factor and a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, with CMR recording technology. A 512 MB cache and 7200 RPM spindle speed support internal transfer rates up to 260 MB/s.

WD Red Plus drives are designed for RAID-optimized NAS systems with up to 8 bays and continuous 24x7 operation. NASware tunes drive parameters for NAS workloads, while the model is rated for a workload rate of 180 TB/year.
