HPE SSD MSA 800GB SAS 2.5" 12G SFF

The HPE MSA 800GB 12G ME SAS SSD (J9F38A) is a solid-state drive for compatible HPE MSA storage systems. Its 800GB capacity, 12G SAS interface and compact 2.5in small form factor make it an option for systems that use this drive format.

HPE identifies J9F38A as the ME variant. It is distinct from the 800GB 12G Mixed Use SAS SSD, which has part number N9X96A, so checking the variant helps match the drive to the intended configuration.

HPE configuration documentation lists J9F38A among the SFF SAS SSD options for the MSA 2040 storage array and as a supported SSD for the D2700 2.5-inch disk enclosure. It can be used to expand or service compatible systems that use SFF SAS drives. Its solid-state design provides an alternative to a conventional hard disk drive in those configurations.
