HPE SSD 3.84TB SATA 2.5" 6G SFF RI SC

The HPE 817090-001 is a 3.84TB hot-plug SSD for server storage. Its SATA interface transfers data at 6Gb/sec, for compatible HPE server configurations.

Classified as Read Intensive-3 (RI), it is intended for workloads with frequent data reads. The 2.5-inch SFF form factor fits server bays designed for SFF drives.

Smart Carrier (SC) and power loss protection (PLP) are supported. In compatible server environments, hot-plug design allows drive replacement without shutting down the system.

HPE lists this model for Gen8 servers and beyond. It can store server data, frequently accessed information and other read-oriented data in compatible HPE infrastructure.
