HPE Spare SSD 3.84TB SFF SAS RI SC MV

The HPE P49034-B21 is a 3.84TB SAS 12G solid-state drive for read-intensive workloads in compatible servers. It belongs to the SFF SC Multi Vendor SSD range and is supplied as one drive.

Its SFF design, SAS interface and hot-plug Smart Carrier suit installation in compatible server storage. TLC flash is intended for environments where data is accessed primarily for reading, such as when expanding storage or configuring data volumes in supported HPE infrastructure.

HPE lists the drive for selected Gen10 and Gen10 Plus server platforms. QuickSpecs specify maximum sequential read/write throughput of 1,080/1,030 MiB/s and random read/write performance of 110,000/78,000 IOPS at 4 KiB, Q=16. Maximum random figures are 173,000 read IOPS at Q64 and 78,000 write IOPS at Q4. These specifications describe its performance for server repositories, read-focused application storage and other compatible SAS configurations.
