HPE 511778-001 is a 750 W AC Common Slot Gold hot-plug power supply for supported HPE server configurations, listed by HPE as an option for the ProLiant DL380e Gen8. Its 750 W rating identifies it for matching a server’s power requirements.
It accepts 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz and is specified at 92% efficiency. The hot-plug design allows the supply to be exchanged while the system remains powered when the server configuration supports that procedure.
This variant has a black plug and does not support Power Discovery Services. HPE requires supplies installed in the same server to share a spare part number; mixing different part numbers is unsupported. The AC input and these variant details distinguish 511778-001 from other Common Slot versions, including DC-input models.
