Lindy 38399 HDMI & IR over IP Extender receiver adds a display endpoint to a networked HDMI distribution setup. It is a receiver unit, intended to work with the transmitter and network equipment, and can help distribute content to additional locations or screens.
The receiver supports video up to 1920×1080 at 60 Hz, with 4:4:4 chroma and 8-bit colour. HDMI video travels over an IP network using H.265 compression, while IR extension from the transmitter allows remote-control signals to be carried as part of the installation. For a point-to-point link, the extender supports distances up to 150 m over Cat.6 cable; network switches can be used for larger distribution systems.
Its metal housing measures 88 × 61.2 × 16.5 mm. Package contents: receiver, 1.5 m IR receiver cable, multi-country power supply for EU, UK, US and Australia, and Lindy manual.
