Lindy 38167 HDMI 4K Audio Extractor with HDMI Bypass separates audio from an HDMI source while sending the video signal on to a display or projector. It provides a practical way to connect separate audio equipment to an HDMI setup while retaining the video connection.
The extractor supports resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 30 Hz over HDMI 1.4. Audio can be sent through optical Toslink, coaxial digital output or the 3.5 mm stereo analogue connection, and HDMI audio pass-through is also supported. Formats include LPCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and DTS-HD, with support for up to 7.1 channels.
CEC pass-through is supported. Its metal housing measures approximately 65 × 88 × 24 mm, making the unit compact for placement as part of an AV setup.
