Omada MC110CS is a single-mode media converter for linking an Ethernet network over twisted-pair cable with a fiber-optic connection. It provides one 100 Mbps SC/UPC port and one 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port, making it suitable for connecting copper Ethernet equipment to a single-mode fiber link.

The specified transmission distance is up to 20 km. For installations using a rack enclosure, the converter can be mounted in the MC1400 chassis. This gives the device a place in network layouts where an Ethernet connection needs to continue over a longer single-mode fiber path.
