The AXIS F2115-R Varifocal Sensor is a discreet camera sensor unit for Axis F modular camera systems. It connects by cable to a separate main unit, allowing the image sensor to be positioned apart from the camera’s processing hardware.
Its varifocal lens has a 3.2–5.7 mm focal length and a horizontal viewing angle of about 107°–56°, providing flexibility in framing the area being monitored. It captures video at up to 1080p and 60 frames per second; with the AXIS F9111 Main Unit, it can also deliver 720p at up to 180 frames per second.
The rear SMA connection supports a discreet installation in tight spaces, including behind glass, metal or plastic sheeting. Axis lists indoor applications such as ATMs, vending machines, buses and emergency vehicles, where its cable connection is designed for vibration-prone settings.
