Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X550-T2 (X550T2) adds two copper Ethernet ports to a server system. Both ports use RJ45 connectors and support several link rates, so the adapter can serve networks with different supported Ethernet speeds.
Each port supports 10GbE, 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE and 100Mb. Intel specifies Category 6 cabling up to 55 m and Category 6A up to 100 m. The PCIe v3.0 interface uses four lanes at 8.0 GT/s to connect the adapter to the system.
Intel lists both low-profile and full-height bracket options, allowing the card to suit either listed bracket height. This is a server-segment network adapter intended to provide wired network connectivity through its two ports.
