Ethernet to Single mode fiber

Advantech EKI-2541S-AE is a media converter for linking a copper Ethernet connection to single-mode fiber. It suits network installations where the link needs to continue over fiber.

The Ethernet side supports 10/100 Mbps, while the fiber side provides 100 Mbps over single-mode fiber. Its SC fiber interface operates at 1310 nm, with a stated reach of up to 30 km.

One RJ45 port and one SC port provide the two connection points. Auto-negotiation, MDI/MDI-X auto crossover and Link Fault Pass-through support straightforward link setup and fault indication. Redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs and DIN-rail or panel mounting support integration into network installations.
