HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 546FLR-SFP+ Adapter (779799-B21) adds two high-speed Ethernet ports to supported HPE servers. Its FlexibleLOM form is designed for server integration, and the listed supported systems include HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9, DL360 Gen9 and DL180 Gen9, along with other ProLiant Gen9 and Apollo models.

Each port provides a 20 Gb/s bidirectional data rate, with up to 40 Gb/s aggregate theoretical bidirectional bandwidth across the adapter. The PCI Express 3.0 x8 interface also supports operation in a PCIe x4 slot, helping it fit supported server configurations.

For network and virtualized workloads, the adapter supports RoCE and offload for VXLAN and NVGRE tunnel processing. Fiber transceivers and cables are sold separately for optical connections.
