EdgeRouter, 10-Gigabit SFP+

Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Infinity ER-8-XG is a network router designed to connect high-speed links in a rack-based network. It provides eight 10G SFP+ ports alongside one 1 GbE RJ45 port, offering several interfaces for network connections.

The specifications list 80 Gbps total non-blocking throughput and 160 Gbps switching capacity. Inside, the router has 16 GB DDR4 system memory and onboard flash storage comprising 8 MB NOR and 4 GB eMMC NAND.

Its SGCC steel enclosure supports 1U rack mounting. The power system uses two hot-swappable AC/DC or DC/DC power supply modules. AC/DC modules are included in the listed configuration; DC/DC modules are not. Maximum power consumption is 100 W.
