Garbot 31.20.9001 is a passive video adapter with a male DVI-D connector and a female HDMI Type A socket. It connects a DVI-D output to an HDMI cable or a display with a matching connection.

The adapter has a black plastic housing and metal contacts, and its passive design needs no external power. It is intended for digital DVI-D signals and does not convert analog DVI-A or VGA signals.

A DVI-D source does not send audio through this adapter, so it provides a video connection only. Use it when connecting a device with a DVI-D output to an HDMI cable or display, provided the equipment uses digital DVI-D video.
