Drive Bay Panel Black

Chieftec CMR-2131SAS is a SATA/SAS backplane for adding removable drives to a computer case. It fits two 5.25-inch bays and holds three 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs, making it possible to install several drives in those bays.

It supports SATA/SAS I, II and III interfaces. Chieftec describes it as Plug and Play compatible, with hot-swap support for changing drives while the system is running.

An 80 mm fan provides cooling. Front LEDs show drive status and fan activity, and indicate fan failure or overheating.

Package contents: the backplane, three SATA cables, a screw set and an English user manual. A RAID controller is not included.
