DELL Intel X550 Dual Port 10G Base-T Adapter Low Profile Cu

The Dell Intel X550 Dual Port 10G Base-T Adapter (540-BBRG) adds two wired high-speed Ethernet connections to a compatible server. It is a low-profile plug-in network card designed for a PCI Express slot.

Its two 10GBase-T ports use RJ-45 interfaces and support a stated data rate of 10 Gbps. The pair of ports lets a system connect over standard copper Ethernet cabling while providing two network interfaces on one card.

Dell lists compatibility with selected PowerEdge systems, including the C4130, C4140, C6320, C6420, R340, R440, R540, R630, R640, R730, R740, R840 and R940xa, as well as selected FC, R and VRTX models. Listed PowerVault systems include the NX3240, NX3340 and NX440. This makes the adapter suitable for adding 10 GbE connectivity to the supported server configurations.
