The Cisco Catalyst 1300 C1300-8FP-2G is a managed switch for connecting devices across a business or branch-office network. It combines eight Gigabit Ethernet access ports with two Gigabit combo uplinks for flexible network connections.
All eight access ports support 30 W PoE+, and the switch has a total PoE budget of 120 W. This lets it carry network data and power to compatible devices over Ethernet, such as IP phones and wireless access points, within the available budget.
For network traffic, the model provides 20 Gbps switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 14.88 million 64-byte packets per second. Its managed Layer 3 platform is intended for business networks that need to connect users and network equipment.
