The orange MicroConnect SFTP710O Cat7 S/FTP network cable connects network equipment and infrastructure over a 10 m run. Male RJ45 connectors at both ends allow links between switches and routers, or connections to a patch panel or wall outlet.

Stranded copper conductors are specified as 26/7 AWG, with a rating of 600 MHz. S/FTP shielding combines foil around each pair with an overall braided shield; the outer jacket is LSZH.

Snagless latch protection and strain relief help protect the connector area during installation. The cable is also described as suitable for PoE and PoE+ applications.
