Chieftec CRD-908H is an internal card reader for installation in a 3.5-inch drive bay, bringing memory-card slots and USB ports to the front of a computer case. Its metal and plastic construction accommodates both card access and additional connectivity in one bay.
The reader includes SD 3.0 and MicroSD 3.0 slots. Four data ports use USB 3.2 Gen 1: two Type-A and two Type-C, each supporting transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. These ports provide options for connecting USB devices at the front of the case. A separate USB Type-A port supports QC 3.0 charging, while a USB Type-C port supports PD 3.0 and QC 3.0 charging.
Connection to the computer is through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, with power supplied via Molex. The unit measures 135.2 × 25.3 × 102.0 mm. Its bay format groups card slots, data connections and charging-capable ports in one internal unit.
