LogiLink WZ0015P is a network cable tester and LAN/PoE finder for checking cabling and locating wiring faults. It checks pin configuration on supported Ethernet and modular cable types, including RJ45 and RJ11, as well as 10Base-T, 10Base-2, 258A, TIA 568A/568B and Token Ring cable.
The tester verifies continuity and can identify open circuits, shorts and miswiring. It also tests grounding, while its PoE function supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at. Automatic and manual scan modes are available.
The remote unit lets you test a cable run at a wall plate or patch panel from a distance. The tester operates on a 9 V block battery.
