MikroTik TG-BT5-IN is an indoor Bluetooth tag for tracking equipment, inventory and other assets through a nearby BLE gateway. It can be used in IoT setups such as MikroTik KNOT deployments, where the gateway receives the tag’s short-range broadcasts.
The tag sends iBeacon, Eddystone or MikroTik telemetry packets. Its Bluetooth Low Energy 5.2 connection and built-in accelerometer support proximity tracking and movement or tilt-related telemetry. The default broadcast interval is 5 seconds and can be changed to suit the setup.
At 35 × 22 × 7 mm, the compact tag can be attached to an item being monitored. It has a built-in, non-replaceable 220 mAh CR2032 battery and is activated with a magnet. MikroTik lists IP54 protection for this indoor model.
