The 3.5-inch drive uses a SATA 6 Gb/s interface and CMR recording. Its 256MB cache and WD AllFrame technology support surveillance workloads; AllFrame helps reduce frame drops and improve recording and playback. The model supports up to 64 single-stream HD cameras under the manufacturer’s stated conditions and systems with up to 16 drive bays.
