Black 7940 Series Thermal

Brady R7940-110X70/O Black 7940 Series ribbon is a wax thermal-transfer ribbon for printing general-purpose labels and temporary identification. It is intended for paper, and Brady also describes use on coated and uncoated papers and cardboard.

The ribbon measures 110 mm wide by 70 m long and is listed for BBP11 and BBP12 label printers. Its polyester base film is outside wound on a 12.5 mm diameter core. Brady recommends it for paper and films with matte or rough surfaces; prints have limited scratch and smear resistance.

This ribbon suits routine paper labelling where a standard-performance wax formulation is appropriate.
