Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protection UACC-ETH-SP-DIN is a single-port device for bidirectional protection of an Ethernet line against surge events. It is intended for installation in a wired network where the connection also needs to carry data and PoE.
Two female RJ45 connectors link the protected line, while support for data rates up to 10 Gbps keeps the device suitable for high-speed Ethernet connections. PoE support allows power to pass along the line, and the stated discharge current is 20 kA.
The unit can be installed on a wall or a DIN rail. Its 89 × 25.5 × 37.4 mm enclosure combines polycarbonate and SGCC steel, making its physical format clear for planning a network installation.
